Victor Adeboyejo has joined Sky Bet League One outfit Burton Albion, ending a five-year stay at Oakwell.
The 24-year-old forward arrived in South Yorkshire during the summer of 2017 and went on to score at a prolific rate in our U23s side.
This form brought him into the first team reckoning, with the Nigerian making a goalscoring debut against Oxford United in August of 2018.
Spells away from the Club on loan with Bristol Rovers and Cambridge United followed, before returning to Oakwell and becoming a regular fixture in first team squads over the last couple of years.
Adeboyejo made 97 appearances for the Reds, scoring nine times.
"Barnsley has been a massive part of my career," the striker told us.
"I met a lot of good people and created some amazing memories. I can only thank all the fans, the staff and players for my time at Oakwell and wish everyone the best in the future."
As a Club, we thank Victor for his efforts over the years and wish him the very best in the next stage of his career with the Brewers.
Good luck, Vic.
