The Reds will now take on the Potters in March, after twice seeing the game postponed due to COVID-19.
We can confirm that Barnsley FC will face Stoke City here at Oakwell in Sky Bet Championship action on Tuesday 8 March in a 7.45pm kick-off.
The original Boxing Day encounter was cancelled after a COVID-19 outbreak in the Potters' camp, and similarly curtailed two weeks later when the Reds were also hit by the omicron variant of the coronavirus.
