HIS INITIAL THOUGHTS SINCE ARRIVING
“The first few games it’s hard to explain to be honest, because it feels like we are playing well enough but we are getting beat.
“It’s hard, but we don’t feel beaten.
“Everyone here is giving it their best, staff and players. If we can get that first victory, I think it would do wonders for the confidence. Then we lift off from there.”
SQUAD MORALE
“I wouldn’t say the dressing room was low when I came in. Obviously, the lads weren’t happy about the results, but it’s not a negative atmosphere.
“We need to stay together and then perform better in the games.”
HOW TO IMPROVE
“We need to start well and get in front. Because we keep ending up chasing the game, and then composure goes from what I’ve seen.
“But the lads are good enough.
“We have to take the lead, and change momentum. Not just in games, I truly believe that momentum will shift totally if we get that first win.”
LOOKING AHEAD
“The gap isn’t growing so we are where we are still.
“It should motivate us. We have to focus on what we can do though. If we start winning, that’s the only way we can get out of this.
“I’m here for the challenge, I’m going to give my all every single game and I’m thankful for Barnsley trusting in me, giving me this chance and I just want to make us better now.”
