The head coach looks ahead to Saturday's trip to Huddersfield Town in this year's Emirates FA Cup fourth round.
“It’s the same as midweek. We’ve had no further issues. But others are returning. For example, Aapo Halme is now with us, and he came through training well. It’s the first chance for me to use him, so he will be involved.
“But other than that, it’s a similar group.”
ON CARDIFF LOSS
“The disappointment soon switched to hunger in the group, following the defeat on Wednesday.
“It’s been a positive reaction and we are all excited to play in the cup tomorrow.
“We just need to be careful with certain players, considering the fixture list.
“We want to advance, but we must be smart with selection.”
AMINE BASSI & DOMINGOS QUINA
“They have been welcomed well, with open arms.
“It’s a good group of guys and they’ve fitted in well. They both did well and we look forward to seeing them impress for the rest of the season.”
ON HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
“They’re a good side, they’re in good form, so it’s a challenge of course.
“They knocked Burnley out in the last round.
“They have skilled players, quick players and are dangerous in transition and counter-attacks. We gave them a good game in December.
“But form is redundant in the FA Cup. It’s less stress for us. This isn’t the league. We can have a different focus, play with more freedom and we hope for a good victory and to get into the next round.”
“I felt like in the last game against Cardiff we got some really good support from our fans. The atmosphere helped the players. They were helping the players push down the opponent.
"Thank you for that backing.
“It’s great to know that we have so many coming to the game tomorrow and we hope that we can give them another decent performance, but with the addition of a positive result.”
