The Reds striker spoke to the press ahead of our Sky Bet League One clash with Fleetwood Town at Oakwell on Thursday 29 December, kicking off at 7:45pm.
ON ACCRINGTON RESULT
"I think that was really their only opportunity. We had enough chances to win the game. We've got five in a row and we're still undefeated.
"Games like that are going to happen, they're going to be frustrating for us, for the fans, the manager. Not every chance we get is going to go in. We've scored some good goals over the past four or five weeks."
ON SCORING AT ACCRINGTON
"Overdue for me. I felt like I wasn't getting in the right areas and I sat down with the gaffer and worked on areas to be in - maybe not the ones I'd picked up throughout my career. D (Devante Cole) made a great run across the near post, how I did for him in the last game, and the second man gets a shot in from four or five yards. It was nice to see it hit the back of the net."
ON FLEETWOOD
"It's going to be difficult. Obviously, the last time we played them it took us until the 93rd minute to score. We know their weaknesses, we know their strengths. It's something we'll work on throughout the week. For us, it's just another game. We don't take too much notice of the opposition, we want to play the way we want to play. It'll be a tough game. I expect them to come here and be physical, work hard and they're capable of scoring goals."
ON SQUAD MORALE
"It's a really good group of lads. We've bonded further and further towards each other. You can see us fighting for each other on a Saturday or a Tuesday. It's something that has progressed over the season. I think if the fans are turning uop week in, week out they'll see how much closer we have got. If someone scores a goal, there's 8 or 9 of us over.
"It's one of the best groups I've been a part of in my career, in terms of close-knit, the lads getting on. There's no cliques. It's really good for the team and it's only beneficial for us a team on a Saturday."
