Barnsley FC is thrilled to announce that our Club Partner, Car Seekers, has generously donated a number of half season tickets to a soccer camp for disadvantaged children as part of our ‘Together Red’ initiative.
This generous donation will give families the opportunity to experience the excitement of live professional football at Oakwell, allowing them to get closer to their heroes on the pitch.
Barnsley FC is proud to have Car Seekers as a Club Partner, and we are grateful for their commitment to supporting our community and helping to provide opportunities for young people.
Dan Whitehead, Director at Car Seekers, said: “To mark the opening of our new site, we at Car Seekers are proud to be in a position where we can give something back to the local community with the help and support of Barnsley Football Club.
“As lifelong Barnsley supporters and season ticket holders, we would like to help the next generation of supporters by giving them a season tickets to watch the Reds and become hooked like us. Momentous Football Academy are a perfect choice with the amount they do for local football.”

The free football camp was taking place at Athersley Rec and hosted by Momentous Football Academy as part of Barnsley Council’s ‘Healthy Holidays’ scheme; providing children with a hot meal and the chance to learn new skills, make new friends, and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.
James Whitehead, co-owner of Momentous Football Academy, said: "I would like to say a big thank you to Nicky, Jack and Josh for taking the time to come and meet the kids.
"They answered questions, signed autographs and had photos with everyone of them. It really made their day and topped off a fantastic week at our Christmas football camp."
