Barnsley Foodbank will be at Oakwell this Saturday ahead of our Sky Bet League One game with Wycombe Wanderers, kicking off at 3pm.
The generous donations by Reds fans for the foodbank from the collection against Cheltenham Town allowed 204 meals to be made for the people in our community who need it most.
Following on from the success of the donations from the first game, Barnsley Foodbank have provided the Club with a list of most-needed items for the week ahead:
Tinned spaghetti
Rice
Rice Pudding
Soup
Cereals
Gravy granules
Tea
Coffee
The food donation points will be situated next to our FanZone stage in the East Stand Car Park, open from 12:30pm on Saturday, and will be present at every home Saturday game this campaign.
Georgina Arnold of Barnsley Foodbank added: "Barnsley Foodbank Partnership are so grateful for the support from Barnsley FC and their dedicated fans.
"We had the equivalent of an incredible 204 meals donated at the last match, which all goes towards our emergency food parcels for individuals in crisis across Barnsley. The club have been incredibly supportive and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds!"

"As we have said before, we wish that foodbanks didn't have to exist, but unfortunately the fact of the matter is that they are being used more than ever before.
