Our goalkeeper is Player of the Season for 21/22!
The 25-year-old was in inspired form for much of what has been a challenging campaign in the Sky Bet Championship.
Joining the Reds in the summer of 2019, the former Chelsea man has had to be patient at times in waiting for his chance between the sticks. But after taking over in goal at the start of 2021, the Southampton native has gone from strength to strength.
He comfortably won the coveted award, earning 44% of the fans' votes.
Despite missing half of the season, striker Carlton Morris was next in the running with last season's victor, Michał Helik in third place.
"To receive such an award, from the fans, it's a great feeling." Collins told us ahead of today's fixture.
"The season hasn't gone how any of us here would have wanted, so that takes the shine off it somewhat. But I feel like I've given it everything and I have to thank the fans for recognising that."
Your Player of the Season will be presented with his award prior to kick-off in this afternoon's penultimate fixture of the 21/22 campaign.
