Barnsley Football Club is looking for an Assistant Groundsperson to join our team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our groundskeeping team here at Oakwell.

The Assistant Groundsperson would be experienced in looking after professional and academy pitches and keeping them to a high standard; there is also a 3G all-weather pitch which would need preparing and maintaining on a regular basis.

Assistant Groundsperson should be qualified to at least NVQ level 2 in sport turf or equivalent.

Duties include mowing/rolling and marking out pitches, fertilising, repairing divots and maintaining banking areas.

37.5 hours per week plus match days.

Salary dependant on experience.
