IT'S TIME TO CROWN YOUR PLAYER OF THE SEASON

4 May 2021

This has been a truly remarkable campaign, but which player deserves the ultimate accolade of being named Player of the Season for 20/21?

Outstanding form since the appointment of Valérien Ismaël as Head Coach has seen Barnsley enjoy their best campaign at this level for 21 years.

With a play-off place already secured, there are no doubt plenty of individuals in the running for this coveted award, but it's down to you, our supporters to decide who deserves the honour.

Ahead of our final home fixture of the regular season this Saturday, we will announce the latest name to add to a star-studded list of previous winners since the award's inception following the 1969/70 campaign.

There will also be a fans vote for this term's Goal of the Season award, whilst the winners of Community Player of the Season, Academy Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Player's Player of the Season will also be revealed online, both on barnsleyfc.co.uk and across all of our social media channels before we take on the Champions in our final game of the regular season.

Who then, will succeed Alex Mowatt? Maybe he'll make it back-to-back wins? Which current Red will follow in the esteemed footsteps of the likes of Eric Winstanley, Ronnie Glavin, Neil Redfearn, Bobby Hassell and John Hendrie by being crowned Player of the Season?

Voting is now open. Simply click on the link below, make your selection from each of the players to make an appearance this season and we will announce the winner online ahead of Saturday's clash with Norwich City at Oakwell.
