BALLOTING PROCESS NOW LIVE

11 May 2021

Barnsley FC are excited to announce that a balloting process for Monday’s Sky Bet Championship play-off game is now live.

Whilst the Club still seek clarity from EFL and governing bodies, to ensure that potential entry is managed in a safe, sensible manner, we have now opened the ballot for 20/21 members  to secure a seat for the play-off semi-final home leg.

This is subject to any future announcements from government/governing bodies which may change these circumstances.

The club has been planning for the return of fans for several months, putting in place a range of protocols to ensure supporters’ matchday experience is as safe and comfortable as possible.

The Reds host the Swans at 8:15pm on Monday 17 May and the online ticket ballot process is live, until 12 noon on Wednesday 12 May.

The ballot is restricted to 20/21 members only.

Ticket information

A maximum of 4,500 tickets have been made available for supporters.

The C.K.Beckett South Stand, Investment Room East Stand and the North Stand will be in operation. It will not be possible to guarantee a specific seat and you may be allocated seating that is not in your regular stand.

Ticket prices for this leg are as follows:

Adult

£25

Senior / Young Adult

£15

Under 19

£10

Under 12

£5

On initial application, each ticket will display a provisional price of £25. However, successful applicants will be charged the correct ticket price, as per each individual’s relevant category. Those unsuccessful will not be charged.

Payment will be taken from successful applicants upon fulfilment of the balloting process on 12 May, with digital ticket distribution to follow no later than 5pm 14 May.

How the ballot will work

Even though the ballot is only open to 20/21 members, we expect demand to surpass the number of tickets available.

The Club consulted the Barnsley FC Supporters Trust and fan representatives and all parties were satisfied that, with the current restrictions, an online ballot for 20/21 members was a fair method of selecting attendees.

Members will be permitted to enter the ballot in groups of up to six, all of whom will need to be within your e-ticketing network. Whilst supporters must complete a compulsory online health assessment prior to attendance, we are anticipating minimal restrictions.

An email has been sent to all eligible members informing them of this news.

Balloting FAQs

The Club will inform supporters if they have been successful.

Tickets are not transferable to others.

Photo ID checks will take place on arrival to the stadium and supporters will be turned away if their photo ID does not match the ticket. Acceptable forms of photo ID include passport, photo driving licence, national identity cards and professional photo ID.

If any supporters have problems in accessing the ballot, please contact the Box Office - 01226 211 183memberships@barnsleyfc.co.uk.
