ORDER YOUR READING EDITION OF GROVE STREET

30 March 2021

The Reds are back in Sky Bet Championship action on Good Friday as we entertain Reading at Oakwell – that means there’s another edition of Grove Street for you to add to your collection!

But what can you enjoy reading in this latest issue?

Our cover star this time around is ROMAL PALMER. The midfield maestro has really come to the fore in his first full season, making 30 appearances in all competitions for Barnsley and becoming a key component of Valérien Ismaël’s side.

Mally talks about the campaign so far, making the most of the downtime during the international break and how he believes he and his teammates are eager to kick on and end the season on a high.

We also have a huge feature length interview with ADAM MURRAY. Some of you may have already read a sample of what to expect on our website, but GROVE STREET goes even further in depth with our assistant coach.

He opens up about his time at the club and working under three different head coaches, as well as how he came to join Barnsley – originally as part of our U18s set-up alongside Tom Harban – and his stints as interim Head Coach.

Up next to take on our TEN QUESTIONS challenge is U18s goalkeeper KIERAN FLAVELL. The youngster recently suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but he doesn’t let that dampen his spirits as he smashes our football quiz out of the park. Can you beat his score? Pick up a copy of GROVE STREET and find out.

Having endured a frustrating few months since arriving from Forest Green Rovers in January, LIAM KITCHING provides an update on his progress as he continues his recovery from a groin injury.

The defender went under the knife after seeing a specialist in London and is now well underway with his rehab as he targets a place in a matchday squad before the end of the campaign.

Away from football and our musical number for this edition is DANIEL CARLSON in THE AUX feature. The Barnsley-based guitarist tells us about his inspirations and influences growing up, while also giving you the lowdown on how to access his work.

As ever, we have five pages dedicated to our visitors from the Madejski Stadium including LEIGH EDWARDSHOMEGROWN HEROES piece and NEIL RICHARDSON pens his 250 CLUB column depicting Reds legend BRUCE DYER.

In addition, Club Chaplain PETER AMOS addresses supporters with a heart-felt Easter message.

All of this for just £3!
