For the 20/21 season, Barnsley Football Club made the decision to forgo a commercial sponsorship for our coveted monthly award and instead join forces with charity partner Barnsley Hospice to help bring much-needed exposure and awareness to one of the town's crown jewels in these most challenging of times.
Barnsley Hospice is a charity providing specialist compassionate care to hundreds of people every year from all over Barnsley.
Specialist palliative care provides help and support to people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease or Parkinson’s.
This care strives to improve quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief, spiritual and social support as well as counselling and bereavement services.

It was an outstanding month for Valérien Ismaël's side, with five league wins out of five, a maximum points haul of 15, as well as a fantastic performance in defeat against Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup fifth round.
