It’s time to vote for your February Goal of the Month, in association with AX Soccer Tours.
The Reds won all five Sky Bet Championship fixtures last month and scored some truly memorable goals, so we narrowed it down to the best four for you to choose your favourite.
GOAL A – CARLTON MORRIS v BLACKBURN ROVERS
Just when it looked as though it would be one of those evenings at Oakwell as Barnsley peppered the visiting goal to no avail, Carlton Morris was thrust into action 10 minutes after the interval. He made the desired impact as he cut in from the left and fired a curling strike into the far bottom corner to give the Reds a deserved lead.
GOAL B – CALLUM STYLES v STOKE CITY
An absolute howitzer from the Bury Baggio as he opened the scoring against Stoke City. The 20-year-old picked up a loose ball and unleashed a thunderbolt from distance that swerved unerringly across Angus Gunn before crashing into the far corner.
GOAL C – DARYL DIKE v STOKE CITY
The American’s first goal since joining on loan from Orlando City was certainly one to savour as it sealed all three points against a stubborn Potters side. Victor Adeboyejo won possession back and found Conor Chaplin, who in turn played a delightful through ball into the path of Daryl Dike to slot home from close range.
GOAL D – MICHAŁ HELIK v MILLWALL
With the scores level in a keenly contested encounter, it was Barnsley who would find the knockout punch. Alex Mowatt lofted a ball to the edge of the box where Mads Andersen flicked it into the path of Michał Helik who slammed a brilliant volley into the roof of the net.
