Barnsley have been drawn away from home against Bolton Wanderers in the first round of this season's Carabao Cup.
The Reds will travel to the University of Bolton Stadium to take on newly-promoted League One outfit Bolton Wanderers in the opening round of the Carabao Cup.
Wanderers gained automatic promotion last season, finishing 3rd in League Two under the stewardship of Ian Evatt.
It means a first trip to Bolton in four years for the Reds.
First Round matches are scheduled to take place week commencing 9 August, but clubs are able to mutually agree an alternative date between 31 July and 4 August.
