The Reds' Carabao Cup journey for 21/22 begins with a midweek trip to Bolton Wanderers.
We have received an allocation of 1,881 tickets in the Franking Sense South Stand Lower Tier for our Carabao Cup Round One fixture at the University of Bolton Stadium, Tuesday 10 August, kick-off 8pm.
Tickets will be made available in the following order:
Wednesday 28th July – 2021/22 Reserved Plus members
Friday 30th July – 2021/22 Reds Reserved members
Monday 2nd August – Oakwell Centenary Society members
Tuesday 3rd August – General Sale
All categories, with the exception of general sale are one ticket per qualifying criteria. The away ticket purchased must match the concession category on the corresponding membership, they cannot be up or downgraded. The ticket allocation is for the member only.
Prices
Adult: £10
Senior Over 65: £5
Juvenile Under 18: £5
Ambulant disabled supporters and wheelchair users will pay their relevant age-related category with an assistant’s ticket being free of charge if required.
Official Club Coach Travel departs at 4.30pm priced at £18 per seat.
- All travellers will be temperature checked before entering the vehicle. Anyone with a temperature higher that 37.5 will not be allowed to travel
- The hand sanitiser provided must be used on entering the vehicle
- Face masks will need to be worn while travelling unless medically exempt
- The seat directly behind the driver must not be used
- Anyone feeling unwell should not travel
- Passengers must remove their own rubbish
- Passengers should not eat on the vehicle unless they have to for medical reasons
- The toilet should only be used in an emergency
- Passengers should load from the back to the front and disembark from the front to the rear
Car parking facilities are available on a first come first serve basis, payable upon entry. Cars: £8, minibus: £12, coach: £20.
The postage deadline for this game is 3pm Friday 6 August. Tickets will remain on sale from the Box Office until 12 noon on Tuesday 10 August, subject to availability.
If you are purchasing away game and cup tickets for other people, we strongly advise you to correctly assign the ticket to each individual for every game. This will enable us to offer the correct privileges to supporters on occasions when tickets are on restricted sales in a category system.

For Reds supporters who would usually visit the Beehive pub when travelling to the University of Bolton Stadium, our Dedicated Football Officer (DFO) from South Yorkshire Police has advised us that the venue is currently closed due to flooding.
The Bolton Wanderers DFO suggests that all of the venues near to the stadium will not accept away supporters and recommends that Barnsley fans go into the town centre and find suitable venues there.
We will update supporters regarding home ticket prices and categories for the 21/22 campaign in the coming days.
