We are delighted to announce that Barnsley FC Ladies have signed a new contract with Barnsley FC and Reds in the Community, which secures them the use of Oakwell’s facilities for the next two years.
The Ladies’ side has continued to grow over the years with more than 160 juniors already part of the Club and being able to remain at Oakwell will help to further develop young, local talent, a principle that has been fundamental to Barnsley FC for decades.
Since coming under the Barnsley FC umbrella last season, our Ladies’ team have earned promotion to the North East Regional Women’s Southern Division, while also winning the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League Cup.
