Reds forward Elliot Simoes to spend the rest of the season in League One.
With first team opportunities proving limited for the Angolan international this season, Elliot Simoes has this afternoon teamed up with South Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers.
Having not featured for Barnsley since the start of November - making just two appearances under Valérien Ismaël - this move offers Elliot the chance to earn valuable game-time with the high-flying League One outfit.
The 21-year-old will spend the remainder of the 20/21 campaign at the Keepmoat Stadium, under the tutelage of ex-Reds centre half Darren Moore, as Rovers - currently fourth in the table - look to regain second tier status.
We will keep Reds supporters up to date with Simoes' progress for Rovers in our loan round-up feature.
Go well, Elliot!
