The Reds will now face Derby County in March following the weekend's postponement of the original fixture.
Barnsley will welcome Derby County to Oakwell on Wednesday 10 March in a 7pm kick-off in the Sky Bet Championship.
The original clash was called off three hours before kick-off on Saturday by referee Keith Stroud, owing to the waterlogged playing surface after heavy rain in the Oakwell area.
Both the Reds and the Rams have now agreed with the EFL to the new date and time for this fixture to take place; an evening kick-off under the Oakwell lights in March.
