ORDER YOUR DERBY COUNTY EDITION OF GROVE STREET

3 February 2021

We’re back at Oakwell for another Sky Bet Championship clash as we welcome Derby County to South Yorkshire.

That means there’s another edition of GROVE STREET for you to enjoy and, as ever, it is fit to bursting with only exclusive content.

Our first feature length interview is with none other than MICHAEL SOLLBAUER. It is the second time we have sat down with the commanding central defender this term and, this time, we take a look back at his career in the Austrian leagues prior to his move to Barnsley.

The 30-year-old spent 10 years with Wolfsberger AC and played against some of the best strikers in world football during that time. He discusses competing with Sadio Mané and Erling Braut Håland, joining the Reds, that incredible great escape and, of course, the Inbetweeners.

We also spoke with CAULEY WOODROW ahead of the visit of the Rams this weekend and, as you’d expect from our top scorer, goals is a topic high on the agenda in this piece.

Barnsley’s talismanic striker is edging closer to that 50 goal mark and he talks about the pressures of taking spot-kicks, our productive campaign so far and how he longs to have supporters back inside Oakwell.

You submitted your questions for CALLUM STYLES to answer and he duly obliges in a comical Q&A. Our little magician was asked about a variety of subjects from his hair care routine to four-foot chickens – it’s well worth a read.

Up next to take on our TEN QUESTIONS challenge is KAREEM HASSAN-SMITH. He’s impressed on the pitch for our U18s and U23s this season, but how is his football knowledge? It’s not too bad, to be fair – see if you can beat his score.

Sticking with an academy theme, GROVE STREET had a quick chat with HARRISON NEJMAN to get his verdict on what has been a tremendous campaign for him both personally and collectively with our U18s side.

Away from football, ever so briefly, LEE BAILEY is the next musician to feature in THE AUX. The Barnsley born and bred singer songwriter gives us an insight to his style, reminisces about gigs around the town, reveals new and upcoming tracks and also reflects on his fondest Reds memories.

NEIL RICHARDSON depicts Barnsley icon NICKY EADEN in his 250 CLUB column, while LEIGH EDWARDSHOMEGROWN HEROES article makes up part of our five pages dedicated to the Rams.

There’s so much to read and so much to enjoy!
