The Emirates FA Cup third round draw takes place this evening and Barnsley have been allocated ball number four!
We enter at this stage of the competition alongside our fellow Sky Bet Championship sides and Premier League clubs and will be looking to progress to the fourth round for the third year in a row.
Last season, we overcame Tranmere Rovers and Norwich City before losing to eventual runners-up Chelsea in the fifth round at Oakwell.
The Reds have enjoyed some memorable and magical moments in the FA Cup over the years – claiming the famous trophy in 1912 and, more recently, beating both Liverpool and Chelsea en route to reaching the semi-final in 2008.
Potential opponents for Barnsley include non-league outfits Kidderminster Harriers – the lowest ranked team still left in the competition – Yeovil Town, Chesterfield and one of either Boreham Wood or St Albans City, who go head-to-head after the draw at 7pm.
