In association with Barnsley Hospice, it's time to make your vote count as we look for September's winner of our Player of the Month award!
For the 20/21 season, Barnsley Football Club has made the decision to forgo a commercial sponsorship for our coveted monthly award and instead join forces with charity partner Barnsley Hospice to help bring much-needed exposure and awareness to one of the town's crown jewels in these most challenging of times.
Barnsley Hospice is a charity which provides specialist compassionate care to hundreds of local people every year from all over Barnsley.
Specialist palliative care provides help and support to people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease or Parkinson’s.
This care strives to improve quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief, spiritual and social support as well as counselling and bereavement services.

In what was a tough first month of the new campaign, with two wins, a draw and three defeats, the Reds will be looking to improve their form heading out of September.
But there were some notable displays throughout the opening month.
We won't be influencing any voting this season, however! Each player to make an appearance in September is eligible to pick up a vote and so it's over to you to crown September's Player of the Month...
