Aapo Halme and Patrick Schmidt have received international call-ups for Finland U21s and Austria U21s, respectively.
The Reds’ duo will depart Oakwell in the next international break to represent their countries in the UEFA Euro U21 qualification campaigns.
Schmidt will be hoping to build on his last outing under Werner Gregoritsch, where he netted in a 2-1 defeat against England. He is part of the side that will travel to Kosovo on Friday 9 October.
Elsewhere, defender Halme remains in the United Kingdom with a trip to Northern Ireland on the same evening before heading back to Scandinavia to face Denmark on Tuesday 13 October.
