Barnsley Football Club is delighted to announce that long-term sponsors CK Beckett have extended their commercial deal with the Reds for the forthcoming season.
The Cudworth-based electrical and industrial dismantler firm are on board at Oakwell for a 13th consecutive term, having begun their affiliation on Grove Street during the 2008/09 campaign.
Since then, they have proudly sponsored our famous, affectionately known ‘Ponty End’, which will continue to be named the CK Beckett South Stand.
They have been with the Club through thick and thin and we are thrilled to have them as part of our portfolio for another year.
Ian Leech, Head of Commercial at Barnsley FC said: “CK Beckett are one of the largest businesses in the Barnsley area and we are, naturally, delighted that they have chosen to renew their sponsorship deal with us for another year. As a Club, we are committed to providing local companies with as much exposure as possible and their name is one of the first things you see when driving up Grove Street.”
Owner Chris Beckett added: “When we stood down as shirt sponsors last season, we decided to still keep a presence at the club as the South Stand sponsor and I am delighted to continue this support again. Me and our Kev took the decision all them years ago to support the Club and I feel we should continue that support. We are a Barnsley company and we are very proud to support our local club in this way. We look forward to the season and I would like to wish the team all the best for it.”
