Next up in the Carabao Cup, it’s a trip to West London and Stamford Bridge.

Having overcome both Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough, Gerhard Struber’s men now face Premier League opposition in Chelsea.

Barnsley last faced the Blues in 2008, where a Kayode Odejayi goal was enough to secure a place in the FA Cup semi-final.

Frank Lampard's side are yet to feature in this season’s Carabao Cup, as they enter the competition in the third round due to qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.

The Round Three tie will take place on 23 September in a 7:45pm kick-off.

The fixture will be available for online streaming via the EFL platform, Match passes are priced at £10 and give access to full-HD streams and live audio commentary.

Please note that this is a different platform to iFollow, meaning a new account must be created to access/purchase a stream.

The streaming of Carabao Cup matches is a temporary measure that has been put in place whilst Clubs operate at a zero or reduced capacity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and will be subject to regular review.
