Danish centre back Mads Andersen made a solid return to the starting lineup in Saturday afternoon's 0-0 draw with Coventry City.

Back from suspension, it was like he'd never been away this weekend. Because as much as the focus was on the continuing struggles in front of goal, it was another clean sheet for the Reds, the third in their six games so far, with Mads appearing in all three of them.

"I love defending!" Andersen stated, smiling.

"It was a battle out there, especially first half. I like that.

"After half-time we got more to grips with things and were in control second half."

Another shut-out then, but only a point against the newly-promoted outfit from the midlands.

Mads feels it's only a matter of time before things click in place, in what are still the early stages of the new campaign.

"I have 100% confidence in my team, in my teammates.

"We will be okay, no doubt about it. We'll smash it.

"It is early days and once we get going I have full faith in us having a good season."
