Legendary midfielder Nobby Stiles will be remembered at Oakwell this afternoon as we entertain Watford in the Sky Bet Championship.
Ahead of kick-off (3pm) in our meeting wiith the Hornets today, Barnsley Football CLub will pay tribute to a footballing icon.
A World Cup winner with England in 1966, Stiles also had a stellar club career, winning the European Cup with Manchester United as well as two league titles for the Red Devils.
Stiles passed away on October 30 after a long illness, surrounded by family, at the age of 78-years-old.
Prior to today's fixture with Watford, there will be a moment of applause whilst the players will also be wearing black armbands.
Our thoughts as a Club are with the Stiles family.
RIP Nobby.
