iFollow FAQs

Below are answers to a number of the most common questions relating to iFollow Barnsley.

No. For every entitled fixture, an individual code will be sent to you via email.

If by Friday afternoon (11 September) 20/21 members are still awaiting an iFollow code, contact the Box Office by phone 01226 211183 or email memberships@barnsleyfc.co.uk.

 

In short yes, but you can only watch live play on one single device at a time.

If you log-in on a tablet, whilst trying to simultaneously watch via a laptop, the most recent log-in will be successful.

Yes! 

Streaming is available via mobile browsing or by downloading the ‘EFL iFollow’ App which is available on all mobile devices.

We advise that all passes are bought well in advance of kick-off. 

The option to purchase a pass may not be visable after kick-off.

Please go through the process of changing your password.

  • Visit barnsleyfc.co.uk
  • Click ‘sign-in’ in the top right corner of your screen
  • Click ‘forgot password’

Submit the email address used to create the account before clicking ‘Reset Password’.

An email to reset your password will have been sent. 

If you incorrectly enter your code three times, you will be automatically locked out of the account. You should then seek assistance from the EFL by either emailing iFollow@efl.com or using the live chat function.

It is advised that all supporters clear browser cache and cookies, before refreshing and trying again.

If you are still struggling, try another web browser (e.g Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox).

If you’re watching on a web device, iFollow video is not compatible with private browsing.

You will only be able to access the stream one hour from kick-off.

Streaming links will become available one hour before kick-off in the Match Centre, which is accessible via www.barnsleyfc.co.uk.  

Commentary will be provided by the familiar duo of Matt Bailey and Callum Cooper.

The option to watch live video only becomes live one hour prior to kick-off in the match centre.

We advise clearing browser cache and cookies before refreshing the browser and trying again. 

If it's still not working, try using another browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox).

If you still encounter playback issues, please email ifollow@efl.com.

Ensure location services are enable and test the app on mobile data / WiFi to establish connection faults.

If nothing changes, please follow the instructions below:
1. Exit the app
2. Delete the app
3. Turn your device on and off
4. Re-install the app
