Jack Aitchison has joined Stevenage on loan until the end of the season, with an option to recall in January.
The 20-year-old striker, who signed for the Reds on Monday, will continue his development in Sky Bet League Two having impressed during a temporary stint with Forest Green Rovers last term.
A product of the Celtic youth academy, Aitchison rose to prominence with a debut goal for the Scottish giants, becoming the Glaswegian outfit’s youngest ever scorer, and also netted a late winner against Cambridge United in his first game for Rovers.
Everyone at Barnsley FC would like to wish Jack the best of luck for his loan spell.
