The Reds beat Watford at Oakwell on Saturday, as new head coach Valérien Ismaël made it two wins from as many games.
Alex Mowatt scored a trademark screamer after only five minutes, whilst Conor Chaplin and George Miller also came close.
Barnsley now sit 15th in the Sky Bet Championship and head to Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.
