For the 20/21 season, Barnsley Football Club made the decision to forgo a commercial sponsorship for our coveted monthly award and instead join forces with charity partner Barnsley Hospice to help bring much-needed exposure and awareness to one of the town's crown jewels in these most challenging of times.
Barnsley Hospice is a charity providing specialist compassionate care to hundreds of people every year from all over Barnsley.
Specialist palliative care provides help and support to people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease or Parkinson’s.
This care strives to improve quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief, spiritual and social support as well as counselling and bereavement services.

It was an up and down month for Valérien Ismaël's side, with two wins and three defeats registered in the Sky Bet Championship as we faced a host of quality sides. The back-to-back victories over Derby County and Nottingham Forest undoubtedly the highlight.
