Valérien Ismaël has been nominated as Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for October!
The nominees are:
Daniel Farke (Norwich City)
Players may have left Carrow Road, but the resilience Farke has instilled remains. In a spell of four straight games, his side scored three winning goals and an equaliser in the 87th minute or later to collect 13 points from six matches.
Valérien Ismaël (Barnsley)
Replacing a popular manager is never easy, but creating a good impression by winning your first two games without conceding a goal definitely helps, especially given that the wins over QPR and Watford lifted Barnsley into mid-table.
Veljko Paunovic (Reading)
His side’s stunning start to the season continued with four more wins and a draw from six games. Moreover, their tally of 11 goals in those matches demonstrated how the confidence he has spread among his players is growing.
Neil Warnock (Middlesbrough)
Him again. Not content with ten Manager of the Month awards already during his storied career, Warnock is in line for another after guiding Boro through an unbeaten month with 14 points from six unbeaten games and into the playoff places.
WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2020
