Barnsley FC have made a number of alterations to the working week at Oakwell.
Following further guidance from the NHS and UK Government, the decision has been made to temporarily close a number of offices, from 17 March, with the health of players, staff and supporters the top priority.
Affected staff will be working remotely for the foreseeable future. However, a skeleton staff will remain at Oakwell to ensure the Club continues to function on a restricted basis.

Chief Executive Officer, Dane Murphy is appreciative of the support he has received from both supporters and staff over the last week.
“It has been a difficult period not only for Barnsley FC, but the entire footballing community and country at large. Heeding Government and NHS advice, we have put a number of measures in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading at Oakwell, as the safety of staff and supporters is paramount.
“The playing staff will continue to remain away from Oakwell as we await an update from the EFL as to how the season will play out. Naturally, we all look forward to football returning, however public health and well-being is of the upmost importance.
