We Are Side By Side

23 June 2020

Whilst we urge you to stay at home, we remain side by side.

Following a terrific result in London, the Reds return to action at Oakwell against Milwall on Saturday 27 June with real belief and motivation.

Although the squad can’t wait to get back to business, football is not the same without you.

With you having to watch from home, we are doing all we can to find ways to keep you engaged and bringing you the best possible matchday experience.

We want to make our home ‘match day experience’  as inclusive as possible and therefore we’re committing to the following:

Free Match Streaming

All 19/20 seasonal members are entitled to complimentary video access via iFollow for our remaining 19/20 Sky Bet Championship fixtures.

That means that Reds Reserved and Reds Reserved+ members will be able to watch first team fixtures at home and on the road!

For further information and a comprehensive FAQ Help & Guidance article to run you through the process completely, step-by-step, please click here.

Limited Edition Be Red

A mini-subscription of limited-run special collectors’ editions programmes for our historic behind-closed-doors home fixtures are available to all supporters.

Production is underway for a double-header programme to cover the home games against Millwall and Blackburn Rovers, with big-match editions for the visits of Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest to follow.

Pack The ‘Ponty’

Whilst fans aren’t allowed in the stadium, there’s nothing stopping your banners and flags ‘packing the ‘Ponty’.

If you have a flag or banner that you wish to be displayed in the South Stand during home fixtures, please drop it off (with a copy of the relevant fire safety certificate) at the Main Reception (next to the Box Office) no later than 4pm Thursday 25 June.

Please ensure that you label your items with a name and contact number so they can be returned at the end of the season.

Toby’s Kids Club

We know that thousands of young supporters will be missing Oakwell, therefore, before we launch our Barnsley FC Juniors website, have a preview of what’s to come with our new and updated ‘Shoot to Win’ game.

Available on both Google Play and the App store, play as Bobby Hassell, Ronnie Glavin, Toby’s nemesis, Charles Cat, or the main ‘dog’ himself!

Your Digital Involvement

Prior to each home game, we will bring you digital offerings of our usual matchday experience.

The FanZone will be online, with first team player interviews, pre-match build up and  music from One Over The Eight.

Also, to add to our pre-match build up, as well as the general press being granted an opportunity to quiz members of the first team and management, a small number of supporters will be given unique access to a special ‘Press Conference’ with striker, Patrick Schmidt.

Please submit your question to ‘Media@barnsleyfc.co.uk’ with the subject ‘Patrick Press Conference’ by Wednesday 24 June.

We are also asking supporters to get involved with the pre-match team-news. In addition to the usual line-up graphic, we want you to feature in a video releasing the news! More information can be found here.

Together, let’s build the momentum and positivity that could see the Reds over the line.

Be seen, be heard, and make the difference. We can do this, side by side.
