For the second year running, our midfield dynamo is recognised by his peers as the standout player over the course of a season, and we've got the skipper's thoughts on his latest award.
"It's massive to get this," Alex Mowatt told us upon receiving the Player's Player of the Year trophy for the second campaign in succession.
"To get recognition from the players you train alongside every day, it's pretty special. The lads see how much hard work you put in, day in, day out so it's a special achievement.
"Getting it two years on the bounce as well, it shows I've been consistent which is nice. I was buzzing to get it last year considering the season we had, but to get it as a Championship player as well, it's a great feeling, a feeling of pride."
The Reds' skipper gained the most votes from his teammates, with Jacob Brown in second position and Cauley Woodrow in third place.
