19/20 Membership Entitlement Deadline...

Whether you are a part of the 6,500+ supporters who have committed to the 20/21 season, or you are yet to renew, all 19/20 members have a choice to make (if you haven't done so already).

Following the decision from the UK Government instructing that remaining fixtures of the current campaign were to be played behind closed doors, we offered a number of alternatives to supporters who were entitled to four further league games (vs Millwall, Blackburn, Wigan, Nottingham Forest).

To redeem one of the options below, you must confirm your choice by 11:59pm on 21 July, prior to our final Sky Bet Championship fixture of the season. If you do not make a choice by that date/time, we will assume that you wish for your monies be invested in to our Academy, where we continue to develop local, young and exciting players.

1. Complimentary 19/20 Streaming

Following the resumption of Sky Bet Championship fixtures, all 19/20 seasonal members were granted complimentary access to the nine remaining (home and away) fixtures, via iFollow. If you were satisfied with this gesture and do not want to claim anything back from the Club, you do not have to do anything.  

2. Flexi-Tickets

Subject to availability, this ticket will grant supporters a seat to four home league games over the next two seasons (2020/21, 2021/22), regardless of division or opposition. Please note, these tickets are not age, stand or seat specific, meaning friends or family can join you at Oakwell on four occasions for no additional cost!

3. Donate your tickets

Following the Club’s commitment to make a number of tickets available for NHS and keyworkers, 19/20 members have also kindly donated their entitled flexi-tickets. The tally of complimentary tickets now stands at over 8,000.

We have also tried to do the right thing and make pro-rata refunds available for 19/20 members. Unfortunately, we have to manage these requests manually. A new email address has been created to manage this process – memberships@barnsleyfc.co.uk (if you have already contacted the Club and received a response, you do not need to re-email).

Please note, 21 July is not the date we will commence with issuing refunds. If you do not make a choice, your ‘refund’ will remain within the Club. Our aim is to ensure that all non-refunded monies are channelled into our Academy system, allowing the Club to continue progressing local talent into the first team squad.

Be aware that the Club will attempt to aid those unable to safely travel to Oakwell at this time. Phonelines and email addresses will be live from 9am - 5pm, Monday – Friday.
