In light of the recent government guidance regarding supporters entering stadia, we understand the frustrations you all must feel at being unable to come to Oakwell to back your beloved Reds.

These are difficult and unprecedented times for all of us, and while we would love nothing more than for you to be back with us at Grove Street, the safety of yourself, matchday workers, players and staff is of utmost paramount.

It is imperative that you do not try to access Oakwell or any other venue that Barnsley are playing at for the foreseeable future.

We need you to stay safe.

It’s not the same. But it’s not forever.

We need you to support us from home and continue to send your messages of support on our social channels. Send photos of yourselves watching the games on iFollow Barnsley whilst donning one of our three fantastic 20/21 kits – or maybe you’re a lover of a retro jersey.

Be with us every step of the way as we continue our Sky Bet Championship campaign. Kick every ball from home and recreate moments in the back garden using jumpers for goalposts.

We must also advise supporters, in the interest of the health and safety of players, staff and officials, not to fly drones over Oakwell at any time.

Stay safe so we can welcome you all back.
