With the process of bubbling supporters now underway, here is a recap of how supporters will be allocated tickets, when permitted.
Under the Government’s three-tier system of restrictions, we are unable to grant access to any supporters at this point. However, once Barnsley enters in to Tier two and subject to approval from relevant local authorities, 2,000 home supporters will be permitted to watch Sky Bet Championship fixtures at Oakwell. There will be no away fans attending until further notice.
Access for 20/21 members will be determined via a balloting system, which supporters will automatically consent to when creating a bubble. Once consent has been provided, those seasonal members will be enrolled in all future ballots for the 20/21 season.
As per the updated ‘Supporter Code Of Conduct’, supporters residing in Tier Three areas at the time of a designated fixture are not permitted to attend.
If you are successful in a ballot and then cannot make a game, the ticket is not transferable to a different match or to a different person. You will have to wait until you are next successful to attend. Any returned tickets will be allocated to extra names drawn as part of the original ballot process.
Those who chose to be entered into the ballot are doing so in the knowledge they will receive a specific match day ticket which could be for any area within Oakwell Stadium. Bubbled supporters will be seated together. If you are successful in subsequent ballots, you may be situated in a different stand.
Seats in the Palmer Construction North Stand, The Investment Room East Stand Lower and the C.K.Beckett South Stand will be available for general seating. Both the Investment Room East Upper and West Stand will not be used for supporters due to current COVID protocols.
Please note, at this point, the ballot and bubbling process are only applicable to 20/21 seasonal members.
When appropriate, further information will be provided regarding this process.
