REDS TO BEGIN BUBBLING PROCEDURE

3 December 2020

Barnsley FC has today allowed supporters to create their own ‘bubble’ in anticipation of fans returning to Oakwell.

Once South Yorkshire enters ‘Tier Two’, legally, we will be permitted to welcome 2,000 supporters into the stadium. If at any point we fall in to ‘Tier One’, we will be able to allow 4,000 supporters into live fixtures. However, before we are permitted to host supporters, we must follow regulation and hold a ‘pilot event’. This number will be limited to 1,000 fans.

By creating a bubble, you are informing us that you wish to attend reduced capacity fixtures at Oakwell in person. Also, you are notifying us who you wish to be seated with. Please visit www.eticketing.co.uk/barnsleyfc to make your choice. By going through this process, you are also notifying us you wish to be considered for all future ballots.

Your ‘bubble’ can contain a maximum of 6 supporters (including yourself). Full details of how to add other supporters to your online network and to your bubble application can be found in the FAQ section.

If you do not wish to attend games during the initial period, you don’t need to do anything. We will continue to send you iFollow codes.

Should you notify us, either online or via the Box Office (From Monday 7 December), that you wish to be considered for the ballot(s) you are agreeing to the Barnsley Football Club Code of Conduct.

We appreciate this is a complex and very fluid situation and have tried to answer as many questions as possible in the FAQ section. However, should you have queries not covered, please contact us Monday to Friday 10am-4pm on 01226 211183 or by email boxoffice@barnsleyfc.co.uk or memberships@barnsleyfc.co.uk.
