The Reds will unite with fellow members of the EFL in supporting Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign to promote diversity in both football and society.
Barnsley FC firmly believes that football is for all and should be welcoming the gay, lesbian, bi and trans community at all levels.
Rainbow corner flags and substitution boards will be used on Wednesday evening's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Wycombe Wanderers to highlight our continued support for LGBT fans, players and staff across the game. Rainbow captain’s armbands and laces will also be on show whilst the Club’s digital platforms will proudly share the message by adding a rainbow theme to the crest.
Barnsley FC are committed to making football everyone’s game and have a zero tolerance policy towards homophobic and discriminatory language.
