Flying full-back Callum Brittain has been in impressive form of late, and ahead of the Boxing Day clash against Huddersfield, he underlined his excitement for the game.
Brittain has played the full 90 minutes in each of the Reds’ last ten games, and he is keen to get back to playing at Oakwell: “We want to make the stadium a fortress,” the 22-year-old insisted.
He believes that Boxing Day’s visitors will present a tough challenge: “Huddersfield are a big club, and they’ve got some good players,” said Brittain.
The Terriers currently sit just one place above Barnsley in the middle of the Sky Bet Championship table, with an identical record to us, and Brittain agrees that the sides are evenly matched.
However, he believes the Reds are in a good position as the midway point of the season approaches, and he stressed that the side is merely “taking each game as it comes”.
