With this morning’s announcement regarding the streaming of 20/21 Sky Bet Championship fixtures, members may have questions as to how they are impacted.

Which Games Can Barnsley FC Stream?

Championship Clubs are able to stream any match not shown live on Sky to fans who purchase individual match passes for £10.

Seasonal members will be granted complimentary access to all home league fixtures played behind closed doors, in addition to away league fixtures played midweek (RR+ ONLY).

20/21 Members Entitlements

The new framework allows Barnsley FC to offer the following streaming options:

Reds Reserved - All home league matches (played behind closed doors)

Reds Reserved+ - All home league matches (played behind closed doors) + all midweek away league matches (played behind closed doors)

Please note that we are not able provide access to any away weekend match, live on Sky or not, within a season ticket package.

How Long Will Membership Streaming Last?

The match by match streaming and season ticket offer is a TEMPORARY measure that has only been put in place whilst we operate at a zero or reduced capacity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be subject to regular review with the first set for early October. This offer is only available to supporters who purchase their 2020/21 membership by October 4.

Do I Use The Same Code?

Throughout June, we dispatched 10,000+ complimentary iFollow codes. These are now redundant. We await further logistical direction from the EFL regards the distribution of new codes.

Non-Member Streaming

If you don’t have a membership, you can still watch the Reds from home. All matches played behind closed doors that are NOT LIVE on Sky Sports will be available to stream on iFollow for a match pass price of £10.

Carabao Cup Streaming

Round One Carabao Cup matches that are not selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports will also be available to stream. These will only be available on a match pass basis at £10. Seasonal members do not qualify for this.

When Will Fans Return?

We await further guidance from governing bodies on this matter.

However, numerous departments at the Club are working closely with stakeholders to make Oakwell as safe as possible for everybody, once supporters are permitted access.

Supporters will be consulted on our approach at a digital ‘Fans Forum’ event (date and time tbc).

We appreciate that you may have further unanswered questions and queries regarding the streaming and behind closed doors fixtures. Please know that once we receive relevant information, we will share accordingly.
