Greg Miller has left his position of Head of Academy Coaching, at Oakwell.

After two and a half years working for this fantastic football club, the time has come to move on from my role as Head of Academy Coaching at Barnsley FC. The experience has been one I will cherish, but as the season ends, I believe now is the right time to take on a new challenge in my career.
Together, we achieved great progress with Academy players advancing into the first team, with an uplift in over 100 starting appearances in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons when compared with the previous two seasons. I am very proud of the development of the coaching staff with some progressing into the first team and others attaining the highest level of coaching qualifications.
The Academy remains in fantastic hands with Bobby Hassell and the experienced coaching team. I strongly believe the infrastructure and environment that is now in place, will ensure that the academy graduates continue to play a pivotal role in the future growth and success of this amazing football club.
I would like to wish all the staff, players and supporters the very best of luck in the future.
