A look at how our loan players are progressing at their respective temporary homes…
We’ll start in Sky Bet League One, where Victor Adeboyejo is plying his trade with Bristol Rovers. The Reds’ final day opponents last season secured the loan signature of our young striker in late July, and he made an immediate impact as he scored on his unofficial Pirates debut in pre-season.
Adeboyejo has since gone onto make nine appearances in all competitions for Graham Coughlan’s side, four of which have been starts, but is yet to get off the mark at the Memorial Ground.
Rovers are currently 14th in the third tier and face Accrington Stanley this weekend.
In League Two, George Miller has featured twice for Scunthorpe United - completing the full 90 minutes on both occasions - since joining last month. However, the versatile forward has been unable to turn around the fortunes of Paul Hurst’s side who are currently rooted to the foot of the table.
The 21-year-old hit the bar on his debut against Macclesfield Town and will be hoping to open his account for the Iron when they travel to 19th place Mansfield Town on Saturday.
