Three Academy players called up to England training camps

12 November 2019

Three Young Reds have been called up for England training camps.

Aiden Marsh, Kieran Flavell and Tom Wooster will link up with their respective Three Lions squads at the Football Association's state of the art St George’s Park facility in Staffordshire.

Striker Marsh, who has scored five goals for our U18s so far in this season’s Professional Development League, is part of Kevin Betsy’s U17 set-up for a three-team tournament against Denmark and Czech Republic.

Goalkeeping duo Flavell and Wooster will be part of the U16s and U15s squads, respectively.

Barnsley U16 stopper Flavell, has played four times for the Reds’ U18s and kept three clean sheets so far this season, while also featuring amongst the substitutes for Martin Devaney’s U23s side.

The youngster will take part in the Mens Goalkeeping Development Camp, which takes place from Sunday 1 December to Wednesday 4 December.

Wooster, who has been involved in previous England training camps, has been in fine form for our academy sides this season, particularly at U16 level.

Congratulations and best of luck to Aiden, Kieran and Tom!
