Gerhard Struber’s coaching team can now be confirmed.
Following the arrival of Max Senft and Matt Rose as part of Gerhard Struber’s backroom staff, the new Head Coach has now finalised his team.
Adam Murray will officially leave his role as Under 18s coach, to take up the role of First Team Coach. Murray joined the first team staff for the 2019/20 season, having also assisted throughout the promotion winning 2018/19 campaign. After taking caretaker charge of the first team for five games, Murray remains a key part of Struber’s new-look coaching staff.
Dale Tonge has left his role as First Team Coach. Dale’s contribution to the success of the 2018/19 promotion winning campaign will live long in the club’s memory, adding further memories to his playing career at Oakwell, where he also achieved promotion. Tonge stepped into the role as First Team Coach at a vital time during last season. Everyone connected to Barnsley Football Club would like to thank him for his efforts in securing a memorable promotion.
