Four Barnsley players selected in Wales squad, for training camp.
Wales manager Ryan Giggs has named a 26-player squad for a training camp in Portugal ahead of next month’s Euro 2020 qualifying round matches against Croatia and Hungary.
The training camp will be taking place in the Algarve region between 22-28 of May. The side last visited Portugal for a training camp in 2017. Giggs will then be announcing his squad for the Croatia and Hungary matches on Wednesday 29 May at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Cardiff.
There is a first international call-up for 19-goal striker Kieffer Moore along with full-back Ben Williams, who has previously represented Wales at junior level. Adam Davies and Ryan Hedges are included again, after previously both making impressive performances for The Dragons.
Ryan Giggs told the official website: “We’ve got two tough away games the players are coming into after a long season. We’ve got a strong squad coming to Portugal and we’ve got other players in the Champions League and play-off finals so we need to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for next month.”
