Cup champions to be featured in special edition book!
We’re delighted to confirm that Barnsley Ladies will join the celebrations in our special edition #NotJustAGame book!
Chris Hamilton and his Ladies team have also made our town proud this season, finishing an impressive fourth in their league, showing progression, but also recently bringing home the SHCFA Cup after beating Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town Ladies! Because of this, the club and its fans wants to recognise the Ladies team as well for their achievements.
Steve Maddock, Chief Executive of the Barnsley Ladies said: “What a fantastic season it’s been for us. After staying up last season by a goal, the transformation has been incredible.
“Finishing the season with some silverware is fantastic. I’m so proud of every one of the girls and coaching staff, and they are worthy winners of the Cup for their efforts.
“We’re building something special here and we’re all so excited for what the future brings. We’re really happy to be included within the book and be a part of an exciting piece of history for all Barnsley fans.”
Fans who pre-order #NotJustAGame will be given the opportunity to get their name in the fans roll of honour, which will be printed within the special edition copy, showing how the Reds gained promotion*!
Closing date for entry is the 24th May 2019.
*Please note that one name will be printed in the "Roll of Honour" section for every book ordered by the 24th May deadline. Unless otherwise requested, we will print the name of the person who has pre-ordered the book (from the order confirmation).
