Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Jasper Moon has joined York City on a work experience loan until the end of the season.
The central defender has excelled at youth level this season, making a seamless transition from U18s to U23s football – featuring 30 times at both levels and scoring one goal.
Moon was also on the bench for the first team back in September as the Reds ran out 2-1 winners in the Checkatrade Trophy at Oldham Athletic.
He will link up with Steve Watson at Bootham Crescent with York 14th in the Vanarama National League North.
The 18-year-old could be in contention to make his debut at the weekend away to Guiseley AFC at Nethermoor Park.
You can keep up to date with Jasper’s progress in our loan round-up feature.
Everyone at Barnsley FC wishes Jasper well in his loan move.
