Linked with the Membership Scheme is something else new to the Oakwell ticketing landscape, 'Loyalty Points'.
Through signing up to the new Membership Scheme, supporters will also be rewarded for their loyalty and support, both at Oakwell and ‘Out of Tarn’.
New Loyalty System
All memberships and tickets purchased for games throughout the 2019/20 season will have a points value. The value of each ticket and membership is listed further below.
When tickets are initially put on sale for away fixtures, supporters with the highest number of loyalty points will have priority.
The Box Office will reduce the number of Loyalty Points required in the lead up to the game. Therefore, attending more matches, or having a certain grade of Membership will give you a greater chance of securing specific tickets.
For example, if you’re wanting to purchase a ticket for our first away game of the 2019/20 season, the Loyalty Point system will look like this;
70 Points – Purchase from 22/07/19
50 Points – Purchase from 25/07/19
10 Points – Purchase from 31/07/19
General Sale – Purchase from 5/08/19
What Are Points Awarded For?
Tickets and Memberships purchased throughout the season will have a points value attached.
Supporters will be given the opportunity to earn more points. If the Reds find themselves playing away on the South Coast on a Tuesday evening, we appreciate both the financial and personal effort it takes to get to the ground – therefore one point may not suffice.
Points will be awarded automatically when ticket(s) are bought in advance through a specific account/client reference number. Tickets can be purchased in person at the ticket office, over the phone or online. Please note, points will unable to be awarded for tickets purchased at cash turnstiles at Oakwell, or when cash turnstiles are in operation at away venues. Also, points can only be awarded once (per transaction), so be aware if you are purchasing tickets for other supporters, be sure to quote their details to ensure they receive their points.
Points Mean Prizes
At the end of the 2019/20 season, all points will be reset.
However, all points that have been accrued throughout that season will relate to a specific offer, event, experience or item.
